How Do Roof Insurance Claims Work?

1. Contact River City Roofing

Reach out to us at River City to schedule a free roof inspection. We'll inspect your entire property for wind, hail and/or storm damage.

2. Repair or Replacement Proposal

After assessing any damage that is present on your roof, our team will create an estimate for repairing or replacing your roof.

3. Insurance Restoration Assistance

We will create a robust, itemized estimate in a program called Xactime for fair market pricing. The majority of insurance carriers use this system to price their scope of loss. You may then compare, side-by-side, the insurance company's estimate to our estimate to view where every dollar is applied on your project.

4. Initial Insurance Payment:

Your insurance company will give you a down payment to get the work started. Often times, your mortgage company is the payee on the first check. We can assist you in getting the necessary paperwork submitted to your mortgage company so they release funds to get your project started.

5. Schedule Your Project

Once you have decided the details of your new roofing system, your project will be moved into production to begin the installation process.

6. Install Your Roof

Our roofing professionals arrive on site to install your new roofing system. Your project manager will be on site to ensure a seamless process.

7. Final Walk-Through, Payment & Warranty

A final inspection will be completed of your roofing system to ensure quality workmanship. At this time, all necessary paperwork will be sent to your insurance carrier and mortgage company for final release of funds. After we receive the final payment, your roof will be under warranty.
